Just as right interior designers from Valencia we are, a visit to Hábitat Valencia Trade Fair is a must and such a pleasure! This is the great Spanish meeting for decor and interior design and it was held in Feria Valencia from 19th to 22nd of September. It was so successful and of course we where there too. That is why we have come back with full charged batteries and last news for you to write down latest trends in decor for your home.
Spanish participation has been bigger this year with special attendance of modern and young furniture companies which come together with leading firms in design, avant-garde and high decor market.
During 2017 we are seeing how green color comes to invade all faces in design. This has been called ‘greenery‘. The responsible for this: @pantone. Greenery: more than green. With a fresh and revitalizing green and some yellow touches, this is the colour of the year, ‘greenery’, which renews our interior spaces to bring the lushness of fresh air, you will get dense vegetation and freshness of nature. A clear invitation to deeply breath and revitalize ourselves is what the Amazonas of design offers us besides the confort of @gamamobel
Domkapa Home Comfort
@gandiablasco surprises us all with the maturity of a 75 years experience and annouces a new brand, a new proposal to enjoy the outside which is born from the relationship of renowed designers and rising architects in this market. Their philosophy joins not only introducing a new outside collection but also creating the ideal atmosphere to enjoy the fresh air by promoting creativity and exclusiveness.
Among those things we liked most, comes the @plussmi_light collection, with these basket looklike shape that you can use to bright the space or for plants as well. Light or life, it’s up to you how to fill this swift item, ideal for those projects we are in fact working on right now.
A classic that never lets you down and from which we always expect more is @andreuworld. Year by year in Hábitat Trade Fair, Andreu World brings a new story, using, as the common language and connection, natural wood, the essential element because of its features and reminiscence to the firm’s origin.
The beginning point of the new 2017 designs is Nuez Chair, a chair by @PatriciaUrquiola, suggestive, warm and technological at the same time, which recalls a piece of paper folds. The confort also comes from the new armchair proposals such as Capri Lounge, designed by @PiergiorgioCazzaniga, which combine ergonomics and formal innovation.
Back to nature, living as natural as possible is now a trend. Many don’t trust in plastic or metal for their homes and living rooms anymore. We are coming back to spontaneity: natural wood furnitures that look and suit perfect. They add a unique touch to your home. The new catalogue by @JoenfaNature introduces the Naturelovers collection, inspired by nature. This way we can contemplate through furnitures everything nature offers us. Amazing, isn’t it? Furnitures and accessories made out of natural wood, with no machining process behind so every piece is just unique itself.
@Capdell celebrates its 50 aniversary. They introduce the SIT, THINK, PLAY Exhibition. We highlight the chair PLY, designed by Mario Ruiz. A unique model whose simplicity provides personality and force. Due to its simpleness and timeless look, it is a perfect choice for many of our projects.
This fair has also brought a new trend which has come to stay: natural fibres. They are useful for indoors and outdoors of any style. They mean freshness and warmth equally. Everything handmade is a success right now. We appreciate original pieces, made as they done in the past because they imply pacience and care, and this is a guarantee we won’t find any other exactly like ours even in 3 million homes around. Also, some have been recovered not only as pieces of furniture or accessories but also as part of other new materials as they are insulating, strong and biodegradable.
Rest has also been part of Feria Hábitat, with the presence of great names like @colchondupen y Ecus, which have introduced a wide offer of mattress and resting furnitures with quality and confort solutions, combining technology of individual products, able to stable temperatures, shapes, etc.
Hábitat Trade Fair is the one and singular window display of Spanish and international furniture industry all covered with the sun and heat of Valencia.
